Second, some scary stuff. The current RNC ad has two points to it. First, Osama's going to strike again, and it's going to be worse than 9/11. Second, vote. Now, how these two parts equal "vote Republican" is a bit of a mystery. I mean, George Bush has famously said about Bin Laden "I truly am not that concerned about him." But I get where they're going with it, and it is one scary, scary commercial. Good timing for Halloween, I think.

About the only thing the RNC is good for is Trick or Treat. Unfortunately I really can't say that the Democratic Party is much better. In light of how BOTH parties have abandoned the Citizens of this country in the last six years perhaps we should send Congress along with the Supreme Court "Justices" to the middle east for Halloween. I bet they would get more than a few Gobstoppers and Tootsie rolls in their bags. Who knows, they might even realize that there is no way in Hell we are going to spread Democracy to a part of the world as violent as this when we don't even have it at home. Happy Halloween...
I can't say much about RNC because I'm trying not to care but it's getting more difficult as time goes by...And when you put things into these wonderfully abstract context, I dig it...

So books will save us all? Crozier's brilliant experiment inspires me to point out that big fat calculus books are a great way to build yourself a fort. I mean, if you have a bunch of them lying about within convenient reach.
