Another Sony Rights Fiasco

It turns out that Sony's implementing new copy protection on their DVDs, causing them to be unplayable in some players. Some players including (wait for it) Sony players. At the same time, the new movies are perfectly and easily available on torrent sites.

Copy protection technology hurts only legitimate buyers.

wait, so I could legally buy a DVD to play in my legally bought DVD player, but I might not be able to watch it? That's just good business sense!
