Should a Cloud Replace a Compass?

I was living in Baltimore when I started listening to all of the Elephant Six bands, including Neutral Milk Hotel and The Olivia Tremor Control. One of my favorite records from that time was the self titled Circulatory System record, from which you can find a couple of sample mp3's here.

Whenever I hear this record in particular, I instantly feel myself back in Baltimore. I love that record a lot - fairly quiet and melancholy psychedelia. I can't figure out why, but it's a compelling listen to me.
