Well, the rain exploded with a mighty crash as we fell into the sun.

So for the past few days I've been trying to pick up running. Well, jogging. Well, walking with some jogging highlights. There's a track right next to my house, so I go up there to do some laps. The first day of jogging unleashed some mighty cough fits in me, which was welcome. I'm doing this at least in part to give myself a reason not further to abuse my lungs but rather to use them more vigorously. Today I shocked myself by going four laps around the track at a mild trot. Now that's a trot, and not a walk. In my mind, I fantasize about being one of those ultra skinny Kenyan runners who just blow past everybody in marathons.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to face up to the reality that I'll be back in class tomorrow. One of my main motivations for running was to try to improve my general disposition. Regardless, man oh man do I not want to go back to class.

Now, although I neither smoke nor want to go back to school, I do enjoy clever flash animation, and so I'm linking Volte-Face, with encouragement to you, the viewer, to stick through it to the end, because it doesn't get all endless on you.

In conclusion, Kenya is a vibrant nation with so much pluck that it could probably spare some pluck and remain quite plucky.

And yes, I'm now quoting Wings lyrics in my blog. Because I like Wings, now.

Keep running my young kenyan friend. The speed and clarity will come in time.
